Tarzan Painting at Comicon by JoeJusko Tarzan Painting at Comicon by JoeJusko
Unveiling the painting at this past year's San Diego Comicon (Comicon International) during the Tarzan's 100th Anniversary panel. The great frame was made at the 11th hour by Stephen Bergstrom, owner of Frame It Yourself in San Diego. Thanks, Stephen! You saved my weekend!

Hello, Joe!

I'm a fan of his work since 1985 ... I admire his technique and extensive knowledge in anatomy. I have several comic book "The Savage Sword of Conan", which covers many you sign.

His work is spectacular! I wish you much happiness, hope a career full of success and great achievements!

Congratulations on a great talent, my friend! Great honor to meet you!

Great work! I love how the pose jumps out of the page, and the background is so intricate. I've been a fan of yours since seeing your work on SSOC. Seeing your process is interesting, how you paint fully each section one at a time. I thought in my own paintings that this would be a great time saver, to paint it right the first time instead of retouching many times. Can you give any insight to why you work in sections? Sorry if this has been answered before.

Just works for me. I can focus better a section at a time. Not for everyone.

The 100th anniversary was a major event at the con. One of my other Tarzan pieces was used as the cover of the Event Guide, as well.

I sit on my ass all day. If I didn't work out I'd be 500 pounds. LOL
