My favorite cover so far! Inspired by the legendary Norman Rockwell SATURDAY EVENING POST covers. I used Linda's son Brennan and our dog as the main models. If you look closely you can see that he's reading the 1960's paperbacks with the great Bob Abbett cover paintings!

oh, yeah, baby! another favorite Warlord of Mars cover!!! heck, i think all of your cover paintings for this series are my favorites:D and what a great tribute to the great American painter Norman Rockwell - who btw, was inspired by (and emulated, with great ease) j.c. Leyendecker - the first great American painter to have painted over 300 covers for the Saturday Evening Post;)...

The 1960's paperbacks are the books I read . So cool ... Love the idea you used here . Your whole series is great . About the only things that don't match with the books is that Dejah Thoris really has a very red skin and the green martians eyes are on the sides of their heads much like chameleons . But most of the pictures show them the same way you do .
