"Heeeeere, kitty, kitty, kitty!"
You do some of the best Barsoom scenes of all. Your John Carter captures the warrior spirit of the man. Great jog. BTW, your DT ain't bad either.
Ah ha ha ha, love your take on John Carter... always fun to see modern illustrations of the old stories. Great work!!
Fabulous work, good friend!
Awesome work! Great expression and powerful pose.
Most excellent, sir Joe
I just hope that after this run for the series, they put out a book with all the covers you did.I loved seeing the other Burroughs paintings you did in the past on your book. And you even got Enric Torres Prat words there!
I hope so, too. Been after them for a while about it, but it means more if you tell them.
Very good! like the perspective too...
Very cool! Love how the way this is framed. And how the white space sets things off.
If not for the signature, I would have though it was an overlooked Frank Frazetta piece.
Wonderful figure of John Carter and fierce expression!!!
This reminds me of that scene from the movie Volunteers when John Candy is stumbling through the jungle and he comes upon a tiger and he starts talking baby talk to it to keep it calm. "OOh you're a big kitty cat aren't you? Yes you are... oooh look over there it's a big mouse...
I think you do some of the best enraged character shots with John Carter. He always comes across as utterly fearless and angry. It really makes me think his fight with this thing is going to be awesome.
Outstanding work! On a side note, I just purchased the Art of Vampirella book today and love all the pieces of yours in there!
Ever so classic!! When are you doing an animated version, mate?
John Carter! He's the man!
Fantastic work, I really like the way you painted the metal parts.
I'd hate to see that one hack up a hairball.
