WARLORD OF MARS No. 20 by JoeJusko WARLORD OF MARS No. 20 by JoeJusko
Maybe my favorite Mars cover to date, but definitely in my top 2 or 3. One of the best female figures I've ever painted, as well. 15"x23.5"

I know you from the FB group you just joined the other day ;)
Brilliant layouts. Worthy of Frazetta & Corben.

Brilliant work on the double-torso! I always struggled to accept characters with 4 (and more) arms because the additional arms are always illustrated jutting out by the ribs or armpits with no shoulders to support them.
I feel you can't just staple extra arms onto a body and think they will be functionally useful, but this is the first example I've seen that's actually believable (alien as it it).

I wish the Deja Thoris in the movie was more like this(less like Disney). I'm pretty sure this is how she's supposed to look.

Huh. That's an interesting way to draw a green martian -- a torso stacked on top of a torso. It does solve a few problems with arm placement and arranging things so the arms stop getting in each others way.
