Here's the entire image with the Vampi figure yet to be painted. I can tell already that as expected there will be a lot of value adjustments to the surrounding elements after she's painted in. It's impossible to get them totally accurate without the main figure there, but they give me a guide as to value control on Vampirella. They'll be a day of looking and tweaking after the main figure is painted. I'm happy with the balance of elements and colors, and while it's not really evident in the pic the slightly lighter values used throughout the background should make her pop out from everything else (fingers crossed). The art tape is there just to geve me an idea what it'll look like cropped and cleaned up.

This almost reminds me of a 1960s-70s poster, painting. I think it might be the hairstyles and the almost "sci-fish" looking desert scene at the bottom.
[Frazetta and Boris would always come up with these outlandish sci-fi landscapes, like a moonbase with crazy shiny spires and glass bubble habitats.]
