are you using Liquid frisket here Joe? I tend to use vinyl application tape but have always wanted to try this stuff out.

hey joe...looks like its coming on well. I just wanted to ask. When u use masking fluid, for detailed bits im guesssing u use a really fine brush, but how du get the masking fluid off the brush if it dries?

:iconjoejusko:
1) use cheap or old brushes
2) Pre wet them with water that has a little dishwashing liquid added. It helps to keep the brush from gumming (though eventually it will anyway, hence the old brushes). Rinse it out with just water regularly if you're doing a large area. I don't really mask off fine areas, just the larger masses.

Thank God for that masking fluid ,eh Joe? Lol , just kidding , I'm sure without it , this would turn out amazing as is your usual!

I work semi transparently on the figures so masking fluid keeps the area clean for me. Not quite sure what your implication is concerning the mask.
