Close up on the foliage. It starts off as a series of multi colored abstract shapes that look random but really aren't. once you have a nice balance of shapes and colors you can go in, adding shadows and highlights until you get that leafy, organic feel.

Thanks for the added tip there. I think I choke because you have so many different types of plants and leaves and a person would see the various vegetation trampled on the ground that I lose sight and instead of doing it one at a time, my mind speeds up the process to start thinking of doing everything at once. With your instruction and advice along with just typing this out, I think I figured out how to get back on the horse lol. Thanks for that too, Joe!
