Finished ape head. The fur, btw, was rendered using short, fast strokes with the edge of a small bristle brush. It leaves a nice soft stroke that mimics fur pretty well.
so to make adjustments you have to wait till the paint drys?..doesnt that take awhile? and by dry brushing do you mean a new brush or just one thats been wiped clean but may be damp
Acrylics dry almost instantly. It's their benefit and their drawback. Dry brushing is done with a brush wiped down to a minimal amount of paint. You have to reload and wipe every few strokes.
