More trees. I added a canopy to the top of the piece and layered branches over it. I also started adding foliage to the trunks and background on the bottom to add more depth. There's a lot more foliage to come. A LOT more. lol

I'm really enjoying seeing these progression shots, as with most artwork, but you don't mess around ... you really do get the details in early. It's absolutely brilliant to see.

I find blocking the whole painting in to a point where it's all an unfinished mess very confusing. I work better a section at a time, but always thinking three or four stages ahead.
