Hmmm... I'm liking it. A lot.
But there's something off with the typography. Hope you don't mind me pointing that.

Maybe it doesn't look authentic? I don't know for sure.
For instance, VAG Rounded (that's it, right?) is a 1979 typeface.

Painting is great, but that's a little obvious to say. ;D

you do indeed,but I think you are going to have to come up with the goods one of these days?:XD:
[there's not a noirish novel lurking in you somewhere?;)....maybe?!!....:plotting:...I think you could do a pretty good work in the whole..'Double Indemnity/Big Sleep/Dial M for Murder type of fiction...your imagination seems to go that way?:D :evillaugh:[even just a really good parody?..I'd be one of many who'd line up to buy it!]

I JUST started collecting these Dell paper backs cause I orignaly liked the art, but some of these books are great 'trash' to get into.
Now I see you do a rather fun mock up, and I have simply say BRAVO!!
