Here;s the finished piece for the new Apes novel (told from Landon's POV instead of Taylor's) that will be out next year. I've now been told it's going to be a limited edition print that will be handed out with replicas of Landon's dog tags at the San Diego Comicon this year. Incidentally, Taylor doesn't look like Charlton Heston because the publisher unfortunately doesn't have likeness approval for him.

Nope. Actors likenesses need to licensed for commercial properties. We had the other two but not Heston's.

Nice work Joe! I was just watching Planet of the Apes yesterday afternoon. I have to say... one of my favorite movies. Congrats on the cover gig for the book. Will be interesting to see how Landon's point of view is put into book form.

Not the cover. There are a ton of artists, including Steranko, Mike Golden, Mark Texiera and a LOT more doing interior illos for the book. Not sure who's doing the cover.
