I love the composition and use of warm/hot with cool colors to provide a clear representation of the two characters and the environment. Looking at this, you can literally feel the flames moving and the heat from them (helpful on cold winter days lol)
yeah, that may be true, but every Iron Chef starts with the same basic ingredients but only one makes it taste like a true winning meal. You are the great chef that makes the ingredients come together to be the best of the feast. Love your work, please continue to post here even when people are jerks and try to do asinine things.
Great flow man. It really gets your eye to move around the way you want them to, conveying the story of the piece. The contrast of poses of the hero stance of the big guy, who looks evil as he is huge and not very nice looking and the hero who is poised to fight back against the towering odds.
The plume of fir on the big demon guy's shoulder pads does not really look like fiber though and the column or the axe part of the hammer could use a subtle highlight. A wet highlight of the contrasting blue for the column or a semi sharp light from the axe blade. from the fire. Not so much as to break the hierarchy of the composition but just enough to bring your eye back to that side for more circle flow.
All and all a great piece of work. I am just waiting for the guy with the sword to post up and have a very epic battle.
