Looking at how you've done these three paintings of Prof X, Mystique and Sabertooth... the backgrounds are just spell bounding... How did you do these? I'm presuming it was airbrush, guache and not photoshop.

No airbrush. Just wet on dry scumbling with a soft bristle brush.
