Little boy with big dreams! LOL Those pieces are pen and ink and colored markers. That chair is slipcovered because I spilled India Ink all over the arms. My parents were very cool in that respect because that's where I worked. Here's a link to more high school stuff.

I just noticed the copy of Avengers #54 on the table next to me. All hail John Buscema!

Avengers was my favorite comic.

That Conan piece on the horse is swell; though Conan does looks a little 'caveman' compared to later work!

This is the kind of this I love seeing... where you came from in the ragrad that you drew in that chair and it had a cover on it because you spilled ink on it. That your folks were cool about it.

My folks were really awesome about my art as well, we're definitely lucky as I know some who did not.

Amazing work at 14, Unbelievable work now!

Wow! Amazing! Incredibly skilled at that age. I see now your influence with Barry Windsor-Smith and John Buscema. I just saw the trade paper backs that every artist should own. Thanks for the link.

Well that's impressive! My younger brother is 15 and I could never imagine him drawing that well. So young and already so talented, too rare.

I was a bit obsessive, in hindsight.
