Didn't realized I had a scan of this. From the mid 90's. Double page splash from my HELLRIDERS story that was published in Frank Frazetta Fantasy Illustrated. These pages were done really quickly so there are things I would change given the chance, particularly the ambivalent look on the hero's face. I was going for a disoriented, just awakened look but he just looks disinterested. Still kinda scary, though. I just added the lens flare from the light digitally. It wasn't there in the original.

The hero has a sort of 'I just saw road house and im feelin like kurt russel on roids!' feel. haha. i like it though. would like to see him get out of that scary situation!!! Jiu jitsu time
