Published version of an upcoming cover for the Green Lantern "Blackest Night" event from DC Comics. BIG shout out to Dave "Devilpig" Johnson for bailing me out with his Photoshop genius when the rings had to be changed to black from the violet they originally were when I finally got the correct ref. I'll post the original version in a bit.

This is really cool. But I think I like the original colors (purply) a little more. But I guess you gotta please the guys in charge.

Btw, it was sorta a dream come true to finally meet you at Comic-Con. Thanks fer taking the time to talk and take a pic. Your new book is just crazy, awesome. Got permanent place on my automon in my living toom. And thanks for pulling this print out and sharing it, (and it was the purply one folks). The whole thing was really special to me. I think the Wolverine & Hercules cover is my new favorite painting from you. But there are countless others! Peace!

Quite amazing and action packed! You really make stuff pop off the screen and I'm all the better for it! LOL! Just a spectacular bevy of details and effects in this and a big hell yes for PS and those neat tricks! Superb!

The ghost white definitely sucks the life out the the cover, but then that's the point of the black rings they "symbolically" suck out the color out of the universe. And force themselves onto the hands of every DC hero or villain who have been killed in it's history; ever wanted to see Zombie Aquaman?! :evillaugh:
