I hate working under this kind of pressure, but it's part of the job. I'm attending the Emerald City Comicon on April 4-5, 2009. They're producing a "Monsters and Dames" art book as a showcase for the original pieces guests are doing for the charity auction. Unfortunately, none of this was really made clear to me, and I sent an old piece in thinking it was just a theme con program. When my mistake was finally made clear to me I had ONE DAY to come up with something in time to be included. This was done yesterday and from conception to finish took about 8 hours. It IS invigorating to have to fly through a piece on instinct, though, as you have no time to second guess ypurself or look for alternative solutions to problems. It's just you, a paintbrush and the clock. And LOTS of Diet Cherry Coke. 11"x14" acrylic.

this is actually pretty good.
i know...pressure sucks.I'm under pressure trying to create the beginning to my first novel about me and my crush without it not coming off too strong or stalker-ish.
ive made 3 copies so far. =.='

The painting is amazing (especially given the deadline) but Im just freaking blown away to find out that Joe Jusko is on DA!!! Holy crap man, that is so exciting to me! Ive seen other pros floating around here, but you sir are a legend!
